SPIRITUAL REST

In the mountains of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, in a privileged place that nature gives us, is Amaru * “the land of the great sages”, a beautiful peasant community where its inhabitants keep the ancestral culture alive, taking care of their traditions and its history, living connected with its essence.

The snake in the Andean worldview represents wisdom, the Incas saw the snake as a sacred being whom they respected, and because of that ancestral wisdom of their people they called this people “Amaru”.

Amaru is surrounded by several Apus (gods), among them, Pachatusan (the one who holds the earth) which is the main Apu where the Yachac (Inca priests) made offerings for all kinds of request, change and connection to the universe; there are also the Apus Huanacauri, Torohuiccsan, Chiuchillano, Tucsan, Linli, Muyuchiurco.

We invite you to live spirituality in contact with the Pachamama (mother earth) during your stay, this is a way to share our ancestral culture, transmitted from generation to generation, as part of our tradition and identity.

During your stay you can perform ancestral spiritual rituals and healing ceremonies with medicinal plants, with walks through Inca trails and lagoons, you will also carry out experiential activities, such as agriculture, traditional Andean gastronomy, dances, textiles, breeding and feeding of llamas, alpacas and guinea pigs (Guinea pigs)
