Spiritual Inka Trail
04 Days - 03 Night
The expedition will take you along the ancient roads of the Inca civilization that linked the important cities of the coast and the mountains. The Inca trail that goes to the sacred city of the Incas, Machupicchu is a cultural legacy of valuable importance, on our way we will walk for two days through the mountains and the high jungle of Cusco, where we will appreciate the flora, wildlife and archaeological areas of very important, sites that were ceremonial and rest centers on the way to the Inca city, cultural heritage of humanity; We will know the ancestral wisdom and the importance of these ceremonial centers, having a spiritual encounter with the Andean worldview, our Shaman will transmit to us the knowledge and the ancestral wisdom in each place of the way, in order to connect with the universe.
Day 1.- Cusco – Piscaycucho – Wayllabamba
We will begin this beautiful journey from the early hours of the morning, heading in our mobility to the station of Piscaycucho (kilometer 82 of the railway), and we will register at the checkpoint of the Sanctuary of Machupicchu. We will walk to a place called Llactapata, in this place, our spiritual guide will make with us an offering of permission to Mother Earth (Pachamama) and the guardians Apus as a sign of gratitude and respect, to lead us on our path with harmony, peace, love and comprehension.
After lunch in Tarayok, we will take a short break and restart our walk to Wayllabamba where the first camp awaits us to rest after a delicious dinner.
Day 2.- Wayllabamba – Warmiwañusca – Paqaymayu
We have breakfast early in the place and the camp rises, we start a walk that takes us to the highest point of the Inca Trail, observing different microclimates, passing from the rain forest of Yuncachimpa to the Warmiwañusca puna (4200 masl) In this beautiful place we will perform a purification ceremony with our shaman and our traditional musicians. It will be the moment of meeting with our own being and contacting us with the light of the universe.
After overcoming the Warmiwañusca pass, we will continue walking to camp for lunch and rest, but we will restart the walk shortly afterwards to head towards Paqaymayu, a town where we will camp again to rest, dine and spend the night.
Day 3.- Paqaymayu – Chaquicocha – Wiñaywayna
Rest and breakfast, the third day of our experience on the Inca Trail awaits us, after ascending the mountains for an approximate period of one hour, we will arrive at the sacred area of Runkurakay, where we will make a brief stop to meditate. Continuing the path we will reach the passage that is 3941 meters above sea level, in this place we will raise our own “apachetas” in an ancient ritual act that consists of placing stones on each other symbolizing the difficulties of the road and the experiences of all kinds with a deep intention Thanks to life, continuing the walk we will descend to the archaeological zone of Sayakmarca, where we will have a time of meditation and an explanation of the place with our tour guide, continuing with our walk we will pass through Phuyupatamarca sacred place where we will make a thanks to our ancestral priests , then we will enter the jungle eyebrow until we reach our third Wiñaywayna camp (2700 masl)
Day 4.- Wiñaywayna – Machupicchu – Cusco
Very early in the morning we begin the walk for a period of two hours towards the Sacred Inca City of Machupicchu, we will wait at the control gate to register our entrance to the sanctuary, then we will travel our way to the Inti PunKu (gate of the sun). In this place we will perform our last ceremony of permission and thanks to enter the sacred city of Machupichu and the ancient guardian gods Apus (mountains) that surround it through the kintu (three sacred coca leaves), which until today remain in protection towards their sons. Then we will have a moment of personal encounter to seek spiritual transformation and find the light of the universe.
After performing our last ritual we will descend to the sacred sanctuary for 45 minutes we will enter to travel the wonder of the world guided by our tour guide accompanied by our spiritual guide for a time of 2 hours visiting the great sanctuary of Machu Picchu, the city, and then You can visit the wonder on your own. In the afternoon we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo station, and then our staff will pick you up with the mobility back to Cusco, to your hotel.

Note: The camps are subject to authorization from the Machupicchu Management Unit and the availability of spaces determined by the Ministry of Culture, therefore, the aforementioned camps are referential.
